Spectators: 7461 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 100) Jablonica's Martin Tomka started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stanislav Capík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ctibor Záhorský having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antón Morvay in the 11th minute of play forced Jablonica's goalkeeper Juraj Thomka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bobová dráha getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Michal Kopoč hit a great ball. When Dalibor Slobodník came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Jablonica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalibor Slobodník couldn't finish the play. 3-0 became the score in the 27th minute when Martin Tomka elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Matej Albert took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juraj Thomka. Juraj Thomka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The audience was convinced that Martin Tomka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ctibor Záhorský was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Juraj Thomka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Kaleta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Ctibor Záhorský successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ctibor Záhorský stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Tomka's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Miroslav Kaleta made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Matej Albert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dalibor Slobodník came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Jablonica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalibor Slobodník couldn't finish the play. After 58 minutes, Stanislav Štafura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bobová dráha and the Jablonica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jablonica booed when Bobová dráha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislav Štafura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Jablonica's Dalibor Slobodník made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ctibor Záhorský was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ctibor Záhorský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Tomka, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Matej Albert charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matej Albert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Stanislav Capík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislav Capík might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ctibor Záhorský. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanislav Capík ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Jablonica's Stanislav Capík sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ctibor Záhorský narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antón Uhlár hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, Bobová dráha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ľubomír Ileš to maneuver through the defense. Ctibor Záhorský came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Jablonica's Martin Tomka. But to his dismay, Martin Tomka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Stanislav Capík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ctibor Záhorský having to interfere.
