Lubáš Tomaschek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Škultéty having to interfere. Gabriel Urdák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC DH Kosice's Alfred Škultéty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Dúbravec in the 14th minute of play. Alfred Škultéty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbert Ivanič's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Alfred Škultéty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Kasarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Viktor Gaňa charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Gaňa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC DH Kosice getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Viktor Gaňa hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Dávid Dúbravec made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Škultéty. FC DH Kosice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 38th match minute, FC DH Kosice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dušan Pangrác to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC DH Kosice's zone, Róbert Ivanič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Škultéty came out of the goal and Róbert Ivanič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, OTJ Meder's Tomáš Macko got control of the ball when Gabriel Urdák tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Dávid Dúbravec made the kick off in the second half. Róbert Ivanič came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfred Škultéty could save by the left post. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC DH Kosice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albert Matúška was slow to take the kick. During this time OTJ Meder's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dávid Dúbravec during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes OTJ Meder got a freekick which was hit by Dávid Dúbravec. Tomáš Macko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Urdák, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tomáš Macko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Sisák in the 64th minute of the match. Dávid Dúbravec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfred Škultéty made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Róbert Ivanič sent off a good shot on target. Marek Sisák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Macko having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Gabriel Urdák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Macko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. OTJ Meder's Tomáš Macko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Urdák in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Róbert Ivanič got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dávid Dúbravec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Škultéty having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Róbert Ivanič's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Škultéty was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The OTJ Meder players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
