In the 5th minute Michal Drahno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Škultéty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Drahno in the 11th minute of play forced FC DH Kosice's goalkeeper Alfred Škultéty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC DH Kosice's Alfred Škultéty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Drahno in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Michal Jakubovič made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC DH Kosice's Alfred Škultéty tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as FC DH Kosice's Gabriel Urdák slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miloš Jasovský. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. 24 minutes into the match, Michal Drahno notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC DH Kosice's Alfred Škultéty. Alfred Škultéty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michal Drahno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alfred Škultéty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Michal Drahno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC DH Kosice's Alfred Škultéty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC DH Kosice's Alfred Škultéty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Drahno in the 47th minute of play. Alfred Škultéty came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelseaslava's Michal Drahno. But to his dismay, Michal Drahno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Chelseaslava:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC DH Kosice:s goal. Michal Jakubovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Škultéty having to interfere. In the 72nd play minute Michal Jakubovič came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfred Škultéty. 2-4. In the 76th match minute, Chelseaslava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Starička to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Urdák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC DH Kosice booed when Chelseaslava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ľubomír Púchy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Škultéty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rastislav Nálepka in the 84th minute of the match. Chelseaslava's Milan Starička suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Dušan Pangrác fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC DH Kosice's protests and gave Dušan Pangrác a yellow card for diving instead. Chelseaslava made a substitution. Boris Hoger replaced Milan Starička. Dušan Pangrác hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Chelseaslava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marián Fábry to maneuver through the defense. Michal Jakubovič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alfred Škultéty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ľubomír Dani came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Chelseaslava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ľubomír Dani couldn't finish the play. Michal Jakubovič had several of the FC DH Kosice's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-5 score and a disappointed Alfred Škultéty as he didn't even see the shot coming. 96 minutes into the match, Michal Jakubovič had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Škultéty. FC DH Kosice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Jakubovič was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. With his leg Alfred Škultéty managed to avoid a goal in the 102ndth minute, when Chelseaslava's Rastislav Nálepka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chelseaslava played a much better game than FC DH Kosice and deserved their victory. The FC DH Kosice players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
