Spectators: 6865 (Terracing: 5020, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Krasňan kicked off to start the match. Róbert Holub's late challenge caught a AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Róbert Holub helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AO Xeros Unicef Poprad booed when Andovce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Holub didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Daniel Krasňan came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the AO Xeros Unicef Poprad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Krasňan couldn't finish the play. Daniel Krasňan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Nastasič having to make a save. Daniel Krasňan struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Daniel Nastasič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AO Xeros Unicef Poprad. After having played for 16 minutes, Róbert Chlebec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbert Chlebec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th match minute, Andovce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Breza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Krasňan in the 25th minute of play forced Andovce FC's goalkeeper Daniel Nastasič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Nastasič came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's Samuel Karlovský. But to his dismay, Samuel Karlovský quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Miroslav Chmeľ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Jurášek in the 31st minute of the match. Samuel Karlovský hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Ľubomír Galis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erik Kiripolský fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's protests and gave Erik Kiripolský a yellow card for diving instead. If Matej Jurášek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Samuel Karlovský was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andovce FC the free kick. Daniel Krasňan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Daniel Nastasič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matej Jurášek to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Andovce FC's Róbert Holub got a free kick in the 51st minute. A hard shot 52 in the game by Róbert Chlebec from a close distance when the talented Daniel Nastasič managed to make a qualified save. Andovce FC's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Daniel Krasňan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Nastasič was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Matej Jurášek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miroslav Chmeľ. AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matej Jurášek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Miroslav Chmeľ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ľubomír Galis, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, AO Xeros Unicef Poprad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdeno Kratochvíl to maneuver through the defense. Ľubomír Galis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslav Chmeľ having to make a save. Daniel Nastasič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Krasňan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Krasňan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matej Jurášek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslav Chmeľ having to make a save. Miroslav Chmeľ came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Andovce FC's Ľubomír Galis. But to his dismay, Ľubomír Galis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
