Daniel Nastasič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislav Ruda's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Ľubomír Galis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Petro having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Ľubomír Galis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Andovce FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Matej Jurášek struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. The supporters of Andovce FC booed when FC Teplička was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marián Pekarík didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibor Petro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ľubomír Galis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislav Ruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, FC Teplička was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ľubomír Vrabec to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andovce FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
