Róbert Tomčík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Čársky, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Róbert Tomčík came out of the goal and Antón Votruba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antón Votruba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertotovce's Ladislav Trišč played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Karaš in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Ivan Karaš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hrabovec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Karaš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hrabovec's Tomáš Virga got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Tomáš Čársky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Tomáš Čársky in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Hrabovec players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bertotovce were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Karaš was the one to do the kick off. Róbert Tomčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Čársky in the 57th minute of the match. In the last second Róbert Tomčík throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomáš Čársky in the 58thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Čársky in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Róbert Tomčík saved Hrabovec from getting behind. In the 61st match minute, Hrabovec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krištof Petruš to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomáš Virga during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Tomáš Virga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Bertotovce's František Slobodník tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tomáš Čársky was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Bertotovce's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hrabovec's goalkeeper Róbert Tomčík, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Antón Votruba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antón Votruba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomáš Čársky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Tomáš Čársky managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bertotovce's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomáš Čársky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbert Tomčík breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Róbert Tomčík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Čársky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antón Votruba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Róbert Tomčík made a huge save. Bertotovce's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
