Pikachu FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Konkoly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimír Kinder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Chmeľ having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Martin Konkoly got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 13 minutes into the match, Martin Konkoly notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's Miroslav Chmeľ. Miroslav Chmeľ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's Miroslav Chmeľ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Laskovič in the 18th minute of play. Adam Laskovič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Samuel Karlovský was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pikachu FK the free kick. The supporters of Pikachu FK booed when AO Xeros Unicef Poprad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Karlovský didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Alexander Francisci in the 28thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Miroslav Chmeľ had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 29 minutes into the match, AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's goalkeeper Miroslav Chmeľ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Konkoly. Adam Laskovič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Francisci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Miroslav Chmeľ when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 43 minutes of play, AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's Daniel Krasňan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Kušnír was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimír Kinder kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Krasňan was the one to do the kick off. Miroslav Chmeľ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Laskovič in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes, Vladimír Kinder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pikachu FK and the AO Xeros Unicef Poprad players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Vladimír Kinder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Pikachu FK's Martin Konkoly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miroslav Chmeľ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pikachu FK were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after AO Xeros Unicef Poprad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Konkoly took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Blažej Sabadoš managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 王城勇 kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jasper Oppitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Chmeľ having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alexander Francisci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pikachu FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Francisci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Chmeľ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Laskovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Chmeľ having to interfere. A hard shot by Oskar Gombuš from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Martin Kušnír's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pikachu FK had played much better football throughout.
