Matej Jurášek started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute of the match Gabriel Vičan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Nastasič skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Andovce FC's Matej Jurášek got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Marek Plučinský made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Nastasič. Andovce FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ľubomír Galis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ján Vozár made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Andovce FC's zone, Michal Pálffy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Nastasič came out of the goal and Michal Pálffy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Dobrý fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Nastasič having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Ivan Biroš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Plučinský struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Daniel Nastasič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Vrakuňa. After the first half FK Vrakuňa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marek Plučinský to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FK Vrakuňa's Jozef Fúzik got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Róbert Lopúch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ján Vozár. FK Vrakuňa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 84 played minutes FK Vrakuňa got a freekick which was hit by Jozef Fúzik. Andovce FC's Ľubomír Galis got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Pálffy got free with Daniel Nastasič in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ján Vozár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ľubomír Galis in the 98th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FK Vrakuňa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
