Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Róbert Čička got the match started through his kick off. The FK Zemedar fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when FK Zemedar's Matej Sapár looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Branislav Janovský showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Sapár in the 8th minute of the match. Michal Štrba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ladislav Capík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Michal Štrba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ladislav Capík. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, FK Púchov's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Čička came free, but Branislav Janovský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Štrba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FK Zemedar's Róbert Čička got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tibor Hergot's late challenge caught a FK Zemedar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tibor Hergot helped the player get up and apologised. Tibor Hergot kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, FK Zemedar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matúš Mičian fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 31 minutes, Juraj Bernát mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Zemedar and the FK Púchov players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FK Púchov booed when FK Zemedar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juraj Bernát didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Róbert Čička in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branislav Janovský saved FK Púchov from getting behind. When FK Zemedar's Róbert Čička in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Púchov's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Matej Sapár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FK Púchov's zone, Róbert Čička stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branislav Janovský came out of the goal and Róbert Čička tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

After a rather tough play, FK Púchov's Miroslav Feja got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Róbert Čička shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Janovský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FK Zemedar's Juraj Bernát got a free kick in the 69th minute. FK Zemedar's Ladislav Capík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Štrba in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes FK Zemedar got a freekick which was hit by Róbert Jančík. Ladislav Capík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matúš Mičian, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of FK Púchov booed when FK Zemedar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Huk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, FK Púchov's Matej Gerbóc tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FK Púchov's Matúš Mičian got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Róbert Jančík hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Juraj Bernát was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Matej Sapár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Zemedar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matej Sapár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FK Zemedar were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FK Púchov to leave the ground with a draw.
