Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bohdan Čambal made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Peter Tunák fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Demjata booed when FC Kanál Grázel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberd Lazár didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Peter Tunák came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Demjata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Tunák couldn't finish the play. Viktor Kabát charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Kabát the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Bohdan Čambal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bohdan Čambal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michal Penkala having to make a save. Demjata's Bohdan Čambal got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Tunák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bohdan Čambal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michal Penkala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Kanál Grázel's Michal Penkala got control of the ball when Bohdan Čambal tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Kanál Grázel's Viktor Kabát got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Viktor Kabát off the ground. A collision led to FC Kanál Grázel getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Viktor Kabát hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Štefan Hoják mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kanál Grázel and the Demjata players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes FC Kanál Grázel got a freekick which was hit by Štefan Hoják. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Bohdan Čambal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Peter Tunák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Penkala having to interfere. Michal Penkala came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Demjata's Bohdan Čambal. But to his dismay, Bohdan Čambal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Dušan Pribula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match FC Kanál Grázel got a corner. Demjata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bohuslav Čabák ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bohuslav Čabák got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tibor Józsa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Pivarči in the 58th minute of play forced FC Kanál Grázel's goalkeeper Michal Penkala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Penkala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bohdan Čambal in the 61st minute of the match. After 64 played minutes FC Kanál Grázel got a freekick which was hit by Peter Molok. When Oto Šechný fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kanál Grázel's protests and gave Oto Šechný a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes FC Kanál Grázel got a freekick which was hit by Oto Šechný. In the 71st minute Demjata were awarded a corner. Tibor Pivarči went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Demjata's corner Tibor Pivarči fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michal Penkala quite easily take care of the ball. Jozef Čižmár kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Michal Penkala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibor Pivarči's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Norberd Lazár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Kanál Grázel's Michal Penkala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Tunák in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Demjata's Peter Tunák nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michal Penkala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Bohdan Čambal took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michal Penkala. Michal Penkala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Bohdan Čambal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Michal Penkala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Demjata were the better team. Demjata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
