Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Demjata's Bohdan Čambal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Halenár charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 46th minute, Tomáš Habera fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tibor Józsa, passed just outside the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radovan Cifra was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Radovan Cifra dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 53rd minute of the match, Peter Tunák tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marek Bega saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bohdan Čambal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Bega having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Habera in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tibor Józsa saved Demjata from getting behind. Peter Tunák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marek Bega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peter Tunák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Tunák struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Marek Bega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demjata. Marek Bega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Tunák, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Peter Tunák reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marek Bega. The goal made the score 1-4. Peter Tunák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Tunák during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Demjata's Peter Tunák got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience was convinced that Tomáš Habera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tibor Józsa was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Demjata's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
