Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FK Zemedar's Róbert Čička started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Demjata's Mikuláš Jankech got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tibor Józsa made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Róbert Jančík sent off a good shot on target. Róbert Čička's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibor Józsa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Jozef Krivý mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Zemedar and the Demjata players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of FK Zemedar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Demjata:s goal. The referee gave Demjata a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tibor Pivarči, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FK Zemedar's Ladislav Capík. 0-1. Matej Sapár's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Tibor Józsa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bohdan Čambal might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislav Capík. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bohdan Čambal ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Tibor Józsa managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when FK Zemedar's Matej Sapár fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ján Petrovka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ladislav Capík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tibor Józsa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Čička, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ladislav Capík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ján Petrovka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bohdan Čambal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bohdan Čambal to make the kick off. If Bohdan Čambal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ján Petrovka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Demjata's supporters rose to their feet, but Ján Petrovka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislav Capík breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matej Sapár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Józsa having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Demjata's Bohdan Čambal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ladislav Capík. Ladislav Capík yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbert Jančík during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Róbert Jančík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, FK Zemedar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bohdan Čambal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Demjata's goalkeeper Tibor Józsa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Demjata's Tibor Józsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Sapár in the 94th minute of play. Tibor Józsa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Sapár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
