Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ivo Pataj started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, TJ Sokol Ľubotice 1992's Jozef Frešo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jozef Frešo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TJ Sokol Ľubotice 1992 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jozef Frešo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TJ Sokol Ľubotice 1992! In the 9th minute, Tibor Remšík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nové Zámky's Igor Jurkemik shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Matej Lalinský but with some difficulty. 15 minutes into the match, Nové Zámky's Radovan Cifra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matej Lalinský narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matej Lalinský didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomáš Habera went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Nové Zámky's Radovan Cifra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matej Lalinský. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. Matej Lalinský was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marek Harmanec showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 25 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Halenár got free with Matej Lalinský in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Radovan Cifra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matej Lalinský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Halenár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Havran struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Marek Bega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TJ Sokol Ľubotice 1992. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Habera in the 56th minute of play forced TJ Sokol Ľubotice 1992's goalkeeper Matej Lalinský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Martin Havran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Nové Zámky getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Martin Halenár hit a great ball. Marek Harmanec charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marek Harmanec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nové Zámky's Marek Harmanec got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Marek Harmanec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nové Zámky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Harmanec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matej Lalinský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Halenár, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 90 minutes into the match, TJ Sokol Ľubotice 1992's goal looked a bit too open when Radovan Cifra came free, but Matej Lalinský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes in the game, Filip Hrivák fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marek Bega having to interfere. There was no doubt that Nové Zámky were the better team. Nové Zámky's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
