Martin Telka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavol Harsanyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ivo Fekiač took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Brtáň, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Poprad's Lukáč Sangret sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Telka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavol Harsanyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Europartners Modra getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Filip Meluš hit a great ball. Marek Jendrišák took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Telka. Europartners Modra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavol Harsanyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Europartners Modra's goal looked a bit too open when Pavol Harsanyi came free, but Martin Telka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Poprad booed when Europartners Modra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Meško didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pavol Harsanyi came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Poprad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavol Harsanyi couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Europartners Modra's goalkeeper Martin Telka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukáč Sangret. Poprad's Klement Jurčovič suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
