Blue Storks youth academy's Viktor Ivana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Storks youth academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Dzubera in the 6th minute of play forced Adidovce's goalkeeper Marek Vorobeľ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Adidovce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jozef Divinec was slow to take the kick. During this time Blue Storks youth academy's players had a chance to rest. Blue Storks youth academy's Jozef Divinec was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marek Vorobeľ in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Viktor Ivana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ján Hajdu in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Adidovce's zone, Martin Dzubera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimír Danížek hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Blue Storks youth academy's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Tarageľ came free, but Viktor Ivana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ján Hajdu got free with Viktor Ivana in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Kubovič charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Kubovič the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Blue Storks youth academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Kubovič to maneuver through the defense. Ján Hajdu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Viktor Ivana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adidovce. Adidovce's Vladimír Danížek got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ján Hajdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbert Tarageľ to make the kick off. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue Storks youth academy's goalkeeper Viktor Ivana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Adidovce's Róbert Gombík to fire away a dangerous shot which Viktor Ivana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Viktor Ivana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ján Hajdu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Blue Storks youth academy's Viktor Ivana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Tarageľ in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Ján Hajdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Ivana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Pavol Elko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blue Storks youth academy's Viktor Ivana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Hajdu in the 76th minute of play. Viktor Ivana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ján Hajdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96thth minute of the game Ján Hajdu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Storks youth academy's Viktor Ivana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blue Storks youth academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
