Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pavol Harsanyi kicked off to start the match. Lukáč Sangret's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakub Soboňa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Poprad's Ivo Fekiač got control of the ball when Ivan Čanecký tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lukáč Sangret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poprad's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáč Sangret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakub Soboňa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Pavol Harsanyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jakub Soboňa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavol Harsanyi in the 24th minute of the match. Dušan Drotár kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jakub Soboňa came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Poprad's Lukáč Sangret. But to his dismay, Lukáč Sangret quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Pavol Harsanyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poprad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ivo Fekiač made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ivan Čanecký sent off a good shot on target. Jozef Bučko kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Ivan Čanecký hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Žigmund Briestenský stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michal Urban kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Pavol Harsanyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakub Soboňa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Pavol Harsanyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poprad's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavol Harsanyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakub Soboňa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dušan Drotár hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Klement Jurčovič's late challenge caught a FC Cifer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klement Jurčovič helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes FC Cifer got a freekick which was hit by Dušan Drotár. Ivo Fekiač took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Čanecký, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poprad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
