An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavol Harsanyi in the 14th minute of play forced Blue Storks youth academy's goalkeeper Viktor Ivana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Blue Storks youth academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Huk to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, Blue Storks youth academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Divinec to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes Blue Storks youth academy got a freekick which was hit by Ignác Kočan. In the 27thth minute of the game Pavol Harsanyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Storks youth academy's Viktor Ivana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lukáč Sangret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Ivana having to interfere. Pavol Harsanyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Ivana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavol Harsanyi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute Pavol Harsanyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Ivana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lukáč Sangret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poprad's Pavol Harsanyi got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Pavol Harsanyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Ivana was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Storks youth academy's zone, Pavol Harsanyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Ivana came out of the goal and Pavol Harsanyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pavol Harsanyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavol Harsanyi was the one to do the kick off. Pavol Harsanyi had several of the Blue Storks youth academy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Viktor Ivana as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lukáč Sangret's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Viktor Ivana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Poprad were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Blue Storks youth academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marek Jendrišák took the corner. With his leg Viktor Ivana managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Poprad's Lukáč Sangret fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Lukáč Sangret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavol Harsanyi in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Ivana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lukáč Sangret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Ivana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavol Harsanyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
