The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radovan Feldek in the 4th minute of play forced morava f.c's goalkeeper Ján Ferko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Zdeno Piroško hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radovan Feldek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Republika Východu getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ladislav Kateržábek hit a great ball. In the 15th minute morava f.c were awarded a corner. Ignác Duda went to the cornerflag to take it. morava f.c's Ignác Duda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stanislav Svatoš in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 17th minute, Juraj Lovecký got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Viktor Bačkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matej Ňahaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Ferko having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dezider Tóth during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Republika Východu's Stanislav Svatoš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Republika Východu from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Matej Ňahaj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ján Ferko. morava f.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matej Ňahaj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Stanislav Svatoš didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when morava f.c's Viktor Bačkor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Dušan Kožuch hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Republika Východu's Stanislav Svatoš got control of the ball when Juraj Lovecký tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Republika Východu getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Daniel Šoltýs hit a great ball. Stanislav Svatoš made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Juraj Lovecký sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Viktor Bačkor made the kick off in the second half. Viktor Bačkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Svatoš having to interfere. In the 52nd match minute, Republika Východu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislav Kateržábek to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Republika Východu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Bačkor in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanislav Svatoš prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, morava f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Radovan Feldek came free, but Ján Ferko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Viktor Bačkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Bačkor in the 69th minute of play forced Republika Východu's goalkeeper Stanislav Svatoš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Viktor Bačkor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. morava f.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Bačkor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Juraj Lovecký had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Viktor Bačkor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislav Svatoš was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The morava f.c fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when morava f.c's Dušan Kožuch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Viktor Bačkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Stanislav Svatoš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dušan Kožuch scored 5-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislav Svatoš, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. morava f.c walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
