Spectators: 8023 (Terracing: 6019, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dušan Macko took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dušan Macko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bohuš Koči tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Peter Jančuška shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bohuš Koči saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peter Jančuška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dušan Macko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15thth minute of the game Dušan Macko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piestany Slayers's Bohuš Koči was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dušan Macko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Piestany Slayers's Mikuláš Cabak got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Juraj Šimáček sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bohuš Koči skillfully saved the ball. Bohuš Koči showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Macko, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Peter Jančuška notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Piestany Slayers's Bohuš Koči. Bohuš Koči was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dušan Žufa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dávid Erdődy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Branislav Mesároš. After the first half FK Slovan Šaľa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Richard Kočan made the kick off in the second half. Bohuš Koči showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Macko, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bohuš Koči was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Jančuška showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Peter Jančuška came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bohuš Koči could save by the left post. When Richard Korn came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FK Slovan Šaľa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Korn couldn't finish the play. Bohuš Koči showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Macko in the 63rd minute of the match. A well placed Dušan Macko short distance shot in the 66th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Piestany Slayers's Bohuš Koči played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Macko in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Emil Antošík sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dávid Erdődy skillfully saved the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Richard Kočan notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FK Slovan Šaľa's Dávid Erdődy. Dávid Erdődy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richard Korn charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Korn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes FK Slovan Šaľa got a freekick which was hit by Richard Korn. FK Slovan Šaľa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
