The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stanislav Lenický received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Erik Briestenský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Rafajovce's Marián Gergeľ got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Matúš Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ľubomír Kazár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Juraj Nemček got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Rafajovce's Ľubomír Hurtiš got a free kick in the 19th minute. Stanislav Lenický received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Erik Briestenský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislav Lenický in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Briestenský prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marián Gergeľ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Briestenský having to interfere. Erik Briestenský stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislav Lenický's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Juraj Nemček received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Erik Briestenský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, FC Rafajovce's Stanislav Lenický sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Briestenský narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Stanislav Lenický made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bardejov Bebe's Erik Briestenský tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Briestenský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Lenický, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antón Urminský hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Jamnický in the 45th minute of play forced Bardejov Bebe's goalkeeper Erik Briestenský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stanislav Lenický came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Rafajovce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Lenický couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislav Lenický stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stanislav Lenickýs short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Erik Briestenský to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Rafajovce's Ľubomír Kazár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marián Balzer in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Stanislav Lenický lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Erik Briestenský. FC Rafajovce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matúš Beck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 71 minutes, Juraj Nemček mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rafajovce and the Bardejov Bebe players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Rafajovce getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Juraj Nemček hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Matúš Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ľubomír Kazár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stanislav Lenický had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stanislav Lenický came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC Rafajovce fans jumped to their feet. With his leg Erik Briestenský managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when FC Rafajovce's Stanislav Lenický fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Róbert Jedlík's late challenge caught a FC Rafajovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Róbert Jedlík helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, one of Bardejov Bebe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bardejov Bebe. Stanislav Lenický sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes in the game, Marián Gergeľ fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Erik Briestenský having to interfere. Bardejov Bebe's Erik Briestenský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Jamnický in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Bardejov Bebe got a freekick which was hit by Marián Iľo.
