The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomáš Schurger during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, JUNIORKA SLOVANA's Tomáš Schurger got a free kick in the 9th minute. Marcel Gojdič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samo Kaňuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Gojdič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes of play JUNIORKA SLOVANA's Tomáš Schurger was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 28th minute Marcel Gojdič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samo Kaňuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samo Kaňuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Gojdič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gabriel Hrčka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Vagaský took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samo Kaňuk. JUNIORKA SLOVANA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Piestany Slayers's Bohuš Koči proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Piestany Slayers from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Hrčka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Bohuš Koči made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Kočan to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Piestany Slayers's Richard Kočan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samo Kaňuk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Richard Kočan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Gojdič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Samo Kaňuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Piestany Slayers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikuláš Cabak to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Gojdič might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samo Kaňuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Gojdič ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Kočan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Richard Kočan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Piestany Slayers's zone, Gabriel Hrčka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bohuš Koči came out of the goal and Gabriel Hrčka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Gabriel Hrčka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bohuš Koči saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samo Kaňuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Kočan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Marcel Gojdič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Kočan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bohuš Koči made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Hrčka in the 91st minute of play.
