Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oskar Kundrát took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bardejov Bebe's goalkeeper Erik Briestenský, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Peter Jančuška got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dávid Erdődy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matúš Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dušan Macko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Erik Briestenský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juraj Striež's late challenge caught a FK Slovan Šaľa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juraj Striež helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Briestenský didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Jančuška went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Peter Jančuška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Oskar Kundrát cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dávid Erdődy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute Oskar Kundrát shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dávid Erdődy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Briestenský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Macko in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Peter Jančuška could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Erik Briestenský however easily saved by the left post. Bardejov Bebe's Juraj Striež challenged an opponent after 39 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. When Dušan Macko fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Slovan Šaľa's protests and gave Dušan Macko a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bardejov Bebe's zone, Peter Jančuška stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Briestenský came out of the goal and Peter Jančuška tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Peter Jančuška made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Jančuška in the 58th minute of play forced Bardejov Bebe's goalkeeper Erik Briestenský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Richard Korn came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the FK Slovan Šaľa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Korn couldn't finish the play. Peter Jančuška received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Erik Briestenský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Jančuška fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Briestenský having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Jančuška in the 81st minute of play forced Bardejov Bebe's goalkeeper Erik Briestenský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Peter Jančuška managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Slovan Šaľa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Jančuška was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FK Slovan Šaľa defense, Matúš Beck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dávid Erdődy. The FK Slovan Šaľa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dávid Erdődy should have stopped the shot.
