After a defensive mix-up in Piestany Slayers's zone, Filip Šrobár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bohuš Koči came out of the goal and Filip Šrobár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pressburg Backstreet Boys's Filip Šrobár in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piestany Slayers's goalie prevented a goal. Bohuš Koči took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Figura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Gojdič who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Matej Drdaj when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Pressburg Backstreet Boys getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Filip Šrobár hit a great ball. Matej Drdaj came out of the goal and Richard Kočan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Marcel Gojdič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piestany Slayers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Gojdič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Richard Kočan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pressburg Backstreet Boys getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dušan Forgáč hit a great ball. Pressburg Backstreet Boys's Matej Drdaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Kočan in the 39th minute of play. When Dušan Žufa came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Piestany Slayers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dušan Žufa couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Matej Drdaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Kočan in the 53rd minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Pressburg Backstreet Boys got a freekick which was hit by Matúš Pecze. Matej Drdaj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Kočan went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Filip Šrobár struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Bohuš Koči didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pressburg Backstreet Boys. After having played for 75 minutes, Filip Šrobár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pressburg Backstreet Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Šrobár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcel Gojdič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Šrobár in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bohuš Koči prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Richard Kočan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matej Drdaj was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Filip Šrobár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Pressburg Backstreet Boys's Filip Šrobár ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bohuš Koči. Bohuš Koči yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Piestany Slayers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pressburg Backstreet Boys for a fine match.
