Piestany Slayers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Rafajovce the free kick. After a rather tough play, Piestany Slayers's Silvester Kardoš got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislav Lenický in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bohuš Koči saved Piestany Slayers from getting behind. Ľubomír Kazár took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Kočan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Richard Kočan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Rafajovce's Ľubomír Kazár. Ľubomír Kazár was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislav Lenický in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bohuš Koči prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Kočan in the 29th minute of play forced FC Rafajovce's goalkeeper Ľubomír Kazár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Jamnický sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Ľubomír Hurtiš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rafajovce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ľubomír Hurtiš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 minutes of play, Piestany Slayers's Richard Kočan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ľubomír Kazár was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Stanislav Lenický came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Rafajovce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Lenický couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stanislav Lenický to strike the kick off in the second half. Marián Gergeľ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Branislav Mesároš in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Rafajovce's Ľubomír Hurtiš. Ľubomír Hurtiš struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Bohuš Koči didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rafajovce. In the 60th minute, Stanislav Lenický made a precise shot to the right of Bohuš Koči. Piestany Slayers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, FC Rafajovce's goalkeeper Ľubomír Kazár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Gojdič. Bohuš Koči showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Lenický, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Marián Gergeľ took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bohuš Koči. Bohuš Koči dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 83 minutes into the match, Stanislav Lenický notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Piestany Slayers's Bohuš Koči. Bohuš Koči was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bohuš Koči stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislav Lenický's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Stanislav Lenický shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bohuš Koči saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Rafajovce's Stanislav Lenický in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Piestany Slayers's Bohuš Koči played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ctibor Mňačko in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the FC Rafajovce players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
