Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matej Bezák started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Antón Efler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Pezan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Club Kanguru the free kick. A collision led to FK Pezan getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Antón Efler hit a great ball. Viliam Vácval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tomáš Kyšidaj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vladimír Cigáň's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dušan Hejnus was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matej Bezák in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dušan Hejnus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Viliam Vácval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Kyšidaj was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Sporting Club Kanguru's Vladimír Cigáň got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FK Pezan's Dušan Hejnus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Bezák in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Sporting Club Kanguru's Vladimír Cigáň made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dušan Hejnus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viliam Vácval struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tomáš Kyšidaj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Pezan. Tomáš Kyšidaj made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Antón Efler sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viliam Vácval made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, FK Pezan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Išták to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Filip Kadlec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Matúš Paliesek fired a really elegant long shot, but Dušan Hejnus threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Michal Čorbaj hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Peter Drabík sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomáš Kyšidaj skillfully saved the ball. Antón Efler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Kyšidaj having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FK Pezan's zone, Matej Bezák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dušan Hejnus came out of the goal and Matej Bezák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vladimír Cigáň had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomáš Kyšidaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viliam Vácval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matej Bezák in the 85th minute of play forced FK Pezan's goalkeeper Dušan Hejnus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antón Efler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, FK Pezan's Viliam Vácval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomáš Kyšidaj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavol Michalovič kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Peter Išták charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
