But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukáč Briestenský couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukáč Briestenský got free with Emil Rybársky in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lukáč Briestenský could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Emil Rybársky made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Lascov's zone, Ján Križan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Rybársky came out of the goal and Ján Križan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladislav Paštrnák hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barcham's goalkeeper Ľubomír Škrteľ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Ivan Habanec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marek Seman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Michal Kolesár made the kick off in the second half. Marek Seman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Lascov booed when FC Barcham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Štefan Molok didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Teodor Kvietkovič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Michal Kolesár made a precise shot to the right of Ľubomír Škrteľ. FC Barcham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match was over Lascov could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Barcham throughout the match.
