Antón Efler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matej Halgoš having to interfere. After the first half FK Pezan were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Matej Halgoš successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. During the 66th minute of the match Peter Išták completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Peter Išták a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Pezan's goalkeeper Dušan Hejnus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
