In the 25thth minute of the game Ján Križan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Club Kanguru's Tomáš Kyšidaj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matúš Paliesek scored 4-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ľubomír Škrteľ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomáš Kyšidaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ján Križan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Matej Bezák's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ľubomír Škrteľ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. FC Barcham's Ján Križan got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimír Cigáň received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ľubomír Škrteľ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Vladimír Cigáň left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After a rather tough play, FC Barcham's Ivan Habanec got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 99th minute, Sporting Club Kanguru's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ján Križan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting Club Kanguru fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Barcham had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
