Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ján Čambora started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 13 played minutes, FK Pezan's Radoslav Bališ shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ľubomír Karaš came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK Pezan reached it. In the 17thth minute of the game Viliam Vácval who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC NITRA's Ľubomír Karaš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dušan Hejnus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ján Čambora, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Viliam Vácval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ľubomír Karaš read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Ján Čambora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antón Efler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antón Efler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ľubomír Karaš having to interfere. Viliam Vácval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes FC NITRA got a freekick which was hit by Jozef Friedmann. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ján Čambora managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC NITRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ján Čambora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dušan Hejnus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 minutes of play, FK Pezan's Antón Efler made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ľubomír Karaš was left in no man's land by his defense there!

FK Pezan's Viliam Vácval got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Antón Efler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ľubomír Karaš was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Ľubomír Užík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ľubomír Karaš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, FK Pezan's Viliam Vácval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ľubomír Karaš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ľubomír Karaš stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antón Efler's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Ľubomír Karaš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viliam Vácval in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes FC NITRA got a freekick which was hit by Jozef Friedmann. In the 68th minute, Antón Efler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC NITRA's zone, Antón Efler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ľubomír Karaš came out of the goal and Antón Efler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viliam Vácval in the 74th minute of play forced FC NITRA's goalkeeper Ľubomír Karaš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dušan Hejnus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ján Čambora in the 76th minute of the match. Ľubomír Karaš didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FK Pezan's Antón Efler shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 87th match minute, FC NITRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Paluška to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antón Efler in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ľubomír Karaš saved FC NITRA from getting behind. Antón Efler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ľubomír Karaš having to interfere. FK Pezan's Antón Efler managed to work through FC NITRA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Antón Efler dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the referee ended the match the FK Pezan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
