Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stano Fedor kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Ľubomír Figura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvakovce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ľubomír Figura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Ľubomír Figura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavol Liška saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stano Fedor in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Bartek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30thth minute of the game Ľubomír Figura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Podhorany FC's Pavol Liška was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Kvakovce's Krištof Kukura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavol Liška made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 35th minute, one of Podhorany FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Podhorany FC. Krištof Kukura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pavol Liška tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Krištof Kukura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kvakovce's supporters rose to their feet, but Krištof Kukura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavol Liška breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pavol Liška stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krištof Kukura's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krištof Kukura to make the kick off. If Krištof Kukura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ľubomír Figura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ladislav Pašek fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Podhorany FC's protests and gave Ladislav Pašek a yellow card for diving instead. Ladislav Pašek hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Ľubomír Figura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Ľubomír Figura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kvakovce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Juraj Bašišta's late challenge caught a Podhorany FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juraj Bašišta helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Kvakovce got a freekick which was hit by Juraj Bašišta. Pavol Liška showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krištof Kukura, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Krištof Kukura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvakovce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krištof Kukura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krištof Kukura in the 91st minute of play forced Podhorany FC's goalkeeper Pavol Liška to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ľubomír Figura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krištof Kukura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavol Liška having to interfere. Kvakovce's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
