Marek Súľovský received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pavol Liška tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Podhorany FC's Ivan Štefanec got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ján Hollý fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavol Liška having to interfere. Pavol Liška stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Zemanovič's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Viktor Zemanovič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pavol Liška showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Zemanovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Pavol Liška went to the wrong direction when Samo Semanovič was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Pavol Liška took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Súľovský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Zemanovič took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavol Liška. Pavol Liška dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Viktor Zemanovič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bratislava Hotspur walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
