Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Zemanovič in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Habera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viktor Zemanovič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tomáš Habera made a huge save. Stano Kurti scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blažej Ďuriš, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Viktor Zemanovič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Zemanovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Habera having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Lazy pod Makytou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stano Kurti to maneuver through the defense. Bratislava Hotspur's Blažej Ďuriš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ľubomír Krasko in the 31st minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Viktor Zemanovič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lazy pod Makytou's Tomáš Habera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viktor Zemanovič had several of the Lazy pod Makytou's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Tomáš Habera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Róbert Bartošík might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomáš Habera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Bartošík ran back to his position shaking his head. Michal Svatoš charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michal Svatoš the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute Samo Semanovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Habera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Zemanovič made a kick off. In the 77th minute, Stano Nárožný hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomáš Habera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Zemanovič's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Zemanovič in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomáš Habera saved Lazy pod Makytou from getting behind. Róbert Bartošík struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Tomáš Habera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bratislava Hotspur. Tomáš Habera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Súľovský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Zemanovič in the 91st minute of play forced Lazy pod Makytou's goalkeeper Tomáš Habera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antón Turanec hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Bratislava Hotspur walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
