After 5 played minutes hronsek heroes got a freekick which was hit by Richard Sedlo. 7 minutes into the match, hronsek heroes's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Podracký came free, but Stano Einhorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Róbert Urminský made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vajnory FK's Marek Kračún tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 16 minutes, Vladimír Šebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vajnory FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimír Šebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Vajnory FK fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Vajnory FK's Tibor Podracký looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Štefan Ruda's late challenge caught a hronsek heroes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Štefan Ruda helped the player get up and apologised. Štefan Ruda hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Marek Kračún was a little too slow when Róbert Urminský got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Marek Kračún made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbert Urminský in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, hronsek heroes's Marek Opatovský got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Peter Čaplovič's late challenge caught a Vajnory FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Čaplovič helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Peter Čaplovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Michal Chaban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vajnory FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Podracký in the 40th minute of play forced hronsek heroes's goalkeeper Stano Einhorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stano Einhorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Lukavský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Michal Chaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Peter Petráš made the kick off in the second half. When Tibor Podracký came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Vajnory FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibor Podracký couldn't finish the play. Michal Chaban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Stano Einhorn made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Tibor Podracký kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stano Einhorn. That made the score 2-3 in the 56 minute of play. Tibor Podracký blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stano Einhorn having to make a save. Marek Opatovský hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Marek Opatovský hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Štefan Ruda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stano Einhorn skillfully saved the ball. Stano Einhorn made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Michal Chaban sent off a good shot on target. Vajnory FK's Tibor Podracký got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stano Einhorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Podracký, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Tibor Podracký's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stano Einhorn was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Michal Chaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stano Einhorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Podracký in the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Kamil Hreha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stano Einhorn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vladimír Šebo charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimír Šebo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of hronsek heroes booed when Vajnory FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimír Šebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, hronsek heroes's Peter Petráš nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marek Kračún made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The Vajnory FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
