Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stano Fedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Elko having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Podhorany FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ondrej Repčík came free, but Pavol Liška reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes AS TRENČÍN 76 got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Macejko. A collision led to Podhorany FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vladislav Marinčák hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Podhorany FC's zone, Róbert Mašša stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavol Liška came out of the goal and Róbert Mašša tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Podhorany FC's Stano Fedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marek Elko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Stano Fedor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marek Elko was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Marek Putnocký fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Elko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AS TRENČÍN 76's Andrej Feldek got a free kick in the 28th minute. Marek Elko made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Marek Putnocký sent off a good shot on target. Ondrej Repčík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pavol Liška tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ondrej Repčík came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the AS TRENČÍN 76 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ondrej Repčík couldn't finish the play. Pavol Liška made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ondrej Repčík in the 41st minute of play. If Vladislav Marinčák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Stano Fedor in the 53rd minute of play forced AS TRENČÍN 76's goalkeeper Marek Elko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Elko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Putnocký in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind AS TRENČÍN 76's goalkeeper Marek Elko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to AS TRENČÍN 76 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tomáš Fratrič hit a great ball. AS TRENČÍN 76's Marek Elko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stano Fedor in the 72nd minute of play. Pavol Liška made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ondrej Repčík sent off a good shot on target. Ondrej Repčík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavol Liška having to interfere. Marek Putnocký struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Marek Elko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Podhorany FC. Marek Elko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Putnocký, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Tomáš Fratrič was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS TRENČÍN 76's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Podhorany FC the free kick. In the 88th minute, Tomáš Fratrič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Jozef Prašivec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marek Elko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the AS TRENČÍN 76 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Podhorany FC.
