Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lukáš Kliment started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Viktor Vengloš managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piešťany's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Vengloš was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bohuš Brezník breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lukáš Kliment came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Piešťany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukáš Kliment couldn't finish the play. When Antón Tunák came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Fk Záborské fans jumped to their feet. Lukáš Kliment blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bohuš Brezník having to make a save. Jozef Návesňak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rastislav Vinarčík. Piešťany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Eugen Cipa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piešťany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fk Záborské the free kick. After a rather tough play, Piešťany's Eugen Cipa got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ferdinand Tribula was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of Piešťany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute, Ján Augustíny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piešťany's Rastislav Vinarčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Húska in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Andrej Húska left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fk Záborské fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Lukáš Kliment got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Simon Ižold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piešťany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Ižold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fk Záborské's zone, Simon Ižold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bohuš Brezník came out of the goal and Simon Ižold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Piešťany players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fk Záborské were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrej Húska to make the kick off. When Simon Ižold fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piešťany's protests and gave Simon Ižold a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Lukáš Kliment ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bohuš Brezník was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Lubáš Dutkovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohuš Brezník having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fk Záborské's zone, Simon Ižold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bohuš Brezník came out of the goal and Simon Ižold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Ján Augustíny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rastislav Vinarčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Húska in the 65th minute of the match. Eugen Cipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohuš Brezník having to interfere. Bernard Liko got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ivan Semeno. Lukáš Kliment blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bohuš Brezník having to make a save. In the 75th minute, Ivan Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Vengloš was slow to take the kick. During this time Piešťany's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Viktor Vengloš got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bohuš Brezník quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Piešťany's Lukáš Kliment got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Simon Ižold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bohuš Brezník was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bohuš Brezník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lubáš Dutkovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Lukáš Kliment notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Fk Záborské's Bohuš Brezník. Bohuš Brezník was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Piešťany players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
