Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Kohútik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Chmara's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 34th match minute, 1 FC Tatran Prešov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Juriček to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Tibor Laskovič in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Filip Kohútik's left hand side. Matej Jarkovský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislav Číž having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Juriček during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Juriček hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Richard Chmara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filip Kohútik having to make a save. Richard Chmara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
