Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Piešťany's Rastislav Vinarčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Bednár in the 3rd minute of play. Rastislav Vinarčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Struhár in the 4th minute of play. Lukáš Kliment struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Matej Kajcer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piešťany. Lukáš Kliment was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Piešťany's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 16th play minutes Viktor Vengloš shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Matej Kajcer and just under the crossbar into goal. If Viktor Vengloš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Simon Ižold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piešťany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Ižold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Vengloš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Matej Kajcer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Piešťany's Lukáš Kliment slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matej Kajcer. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. After 37 played minutes Turany FK got a freekick which was hit by Emil Bednár. After 38 played minutes Piešťany got a freekick which was hit by Simon Ižold. Rastislav Vinarčík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukáš Šroub, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Lukáš Kliment received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Matej Kajcer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Turany FK's zone, Viktor Vengloš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matej Kajcer came out of the goal and Viktor Vengloš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Simon Ižold's late challenge caught a Turany FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Ižold helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Piešťany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Ižold to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Turany FK's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Vengloš came free, but Matej Kajcer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Struhár scored 2-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rastislav Vinarčík, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th match minute, Turany FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Struhár to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Lukáš Kliment managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piešťany's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáš Kliment was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matej Kajcer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lukáš Kliment had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piešťany's Simon Ižold quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Filip Púčik, made in the 81st minute of the game. Viktor Vengloš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matej Kajcer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Kliment in the 86th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Viktor Vengloš notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Turany FK's Matej Kajcer. Matej Kajcer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viktor Vengloš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Matej Kajcer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piešťany fully deserved thier win.
