Spectators: 7834 (Terracing: 5995, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Slavomir Gyure got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Norian Kusnier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Opoj's supporters rose to their feet, but Norian Kusnier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bohuš Brezník breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Slavomir Gyure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Slavomir Gyure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Slavomir Gyure left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Opoj fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Opoj getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tibor Melicharek hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Ján Augustíny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bohuš Brezník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norian Kusnier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Norian Kusnier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bohuš Brezník was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norian Kusnier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohuš Brezník having to interfere. In the 28th minute Slavomir Gyure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bohuš Brezník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Ivan Semeno got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 36 minutes into the match, Opoj's goalkeeper Alojz Cesnek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antón Tunák. Slavomir Gyure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Opoj's Slavomir Gyure in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fk Záborské's goalie prevented a goal. If Norian Kusnier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Bohuš Brezník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slavomir Gyure, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Andrej Húska received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alojz Cesnek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norian Kusnier scored 0-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bohuš Brezník, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The nice shot from Norian Kusnier in the 71stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bohuš Brezník had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After having played for 73 minutes, Antón Tunák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fk Záborské's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antón Tunák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tibor Melicharek hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antón Tunák in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alojz Cesnek saved Opoj from getting behind. 1-3 became the score in the 79th minute when Andrej Húska elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ján Augustíny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alojz Cesnek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrej Húska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Opoj supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Opoj would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
