Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrej Zudor in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michal Maroš prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 39 minutes, Andrej Zudor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Horses Kosice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrej Zudor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michal Maroš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Zudor in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Spartak Belasých's Ladislav Bachleda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrej Zudor was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Zudor in the 54th minute of play forced Spartak Belasých's goalkeeper Michal Maroš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, Spartak Belasých was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Móric Horváth to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Zudor in the 58th minute of play forced Spartak Belasých's goalkeeper Michal Maroš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andrej Zudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michal Maroš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Zudor, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Tomáš Fiamčík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michal Maroš stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrej Zudor's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. When Ladislav Bachleda came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Spartak Belasých fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislav Bachleda couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrej Zudor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michal Maroš. That made the score 1-2 in the 89 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Spartak Belasých's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Zudor came free, but Michal Maroš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes in the game, Andrej Zudor fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Michal Maroš having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Dark Horses Kosice left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spartak Belasých.
