Spectators: 7902 (Terracing: 6010, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ladislav Bachleda got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Prídavok in the 3rd minute of play forced Spartak Belasých's goalkeeper Michal Maroš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Erik Semenník fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Michal Maroš, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of FC Inter Príbovce booed when Spartak Belasých was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Špindler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dušan Prídavok was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. FC Inter Príbovce's Dušan Prídavok got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Marek Kajcer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spartak Belasých's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Inter Príbovce the free kick. A collision led to Spartak Belasých getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marek Kajcer hit a great ball. When Dušan Prídavok came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Inter Príbovce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dušan Prídavok couldn't finish the play. Michal Maroš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Prídavok in the 28th minute of play. Michal Maroš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Prídavok, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Spartak Belasých getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ladislav Bachleda hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Inter Príbovce's Matúš Verný got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Michal Maroš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Semenník in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, FC Inter Príbovce's Erik Semenník sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michal Maroš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ladislav Bachleda fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spartak Belasých's protests and gave Ladislav Bachleda a yellow card for diving instead. Dušan Prídavok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michal Barčík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Maroš having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Spartak Belasých's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Prídavok came free, but Michal Maroš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Semenník in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michal Maroš prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marek Kajcer took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Cais. Viktor Cais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.
