The supporters of ŠK ŠTART Medzilaborce booed when Hajduk Split was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Petráš didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jergus Seman made a kick off. Jergus Seman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ján Bruchala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Jergus Seman in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 62 minutes into the match, ŠK ŠTART Medzilaborce's Matej Kavecký sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ján Bruchala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Jergus Seman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hajduk Split's Ján Bruchala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Hajduk Split's Dušan Petráš got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jergus Seman in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ján Bruchala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Machala charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Machala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Martin Machala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jergus Seman struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ján Bruchala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŠK ŠTART Medzilaborce. 94 minutes into the match, Hajduk Split's goal looked a bit too open when Jergus Seman came free, but Ján Bruchala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hajduk Split getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jozef Gajdoš hit a great ball. ŠK ŠTART Medzilaborce's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
