Dušan Petráš kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Miroslav Ledník sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK Navy Seals's Tomáš Múdry got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miroslav Ledník fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Bruchala having to interfere. Ján Bruchala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Ledník in the 23rd minute of the match. Ján Bruchala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomáš Múdry in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Miroslav Ledník shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Bruchala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ján Bruchala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimír Pavlovič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Ján Bruchala made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, FK Navy Seals's goalkeeper Gabriel Seno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jozef Gajdoš. Ján Bruchala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Ledník, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Martin Machala kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslav Ledník in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ján Bruchala saved Hajduk Split from getting behind. Dušan Petráš got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Hajduk Split's Dušan Petráš got a free kick in the 65th minute. Miroslav Ledník charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miroslav Ledník the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Miroslav Ledník came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FK Navy Seals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Ledník couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Miroslav Ledník's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ján Bruchala was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Tomáš Múdry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ján Bruchala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jozef Gajdoš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Hajduk Split's Martin Machala tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ján Bruchala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslav Ledník's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Ján Bruchala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Ledník, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. FK Navy Seals's Tibor Kotmánik got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FK Navy Seals booed when Hajduk Split was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Machala didn't get a good kick on the ball. FK Navy Seals's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
