The audience was convinced that Róbert Šťastný's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Puškár was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Daniel Križan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Matej Meluš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laco Laučík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, one of Severide SB:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th match minute, Severide SB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Ujlaky to maneuver through the defense. When Marek Pavlovič came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cigla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Pavlovič couldn't finish the play. Matej Meluš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laco Laučík came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Cigla's Marek Pavlovič. But to his dismay, Marek Pavlovič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 43 minutes into the game, Milan Pirčák was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Severide SB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cigla the free kick. 42 minutes into the game, one of Severide SB:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cigla a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Blažej Tokár, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Severide SB's Laco Laučík. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrej Trnka during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andrej Trnka hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Matej Meluš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laco Laučík having to interfere. A collision led to Severide SB getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Erik Ujlaky hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Marek Pavlovič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Matej Meluš's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laco Laučík was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Marek Pavlovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laco Laučík having to interfere. With a little luck, Severide SB's Laco Laučík got control of the ball when Marek Pavlovič tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Cigla's Marek Pavlovič made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laco Laučík was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Severide SB's goalkeeper Laco Laučík had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Pavlovič. Laco Laučík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Meluš in the 93rd minute of the match. Marek Srnka might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Puškár. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marek Srnka ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cigla walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
