With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matúš Rafaj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Ján Orenič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Koreň in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Mašša saved Cerovo FK from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Rudolf Koreň left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lapaji fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, Miroslav Rudolf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Mašša. Cerovo FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miroslav Rudolf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Matúš Rafaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jergus Bodnár in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lapaji's goalkeeper Matúš Rafaj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Lapaji players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
