Jergus Bodnár took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrej Cabak. Andrej Cabak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Pivko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Podmajerský got free with Emil Mašša in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michal Petro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Andrej Cabak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Pivko, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gabriel Podmajerský sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Podmajerský was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. FK Hlohovec's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 37 minutes into the match, FK Hlohovec's Peter Dravecký broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Andrej Cabak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jergus Bodnár in the 41st minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michal Petro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Marek Pivko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerovo FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Michal Petro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Cerovo FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ján Orenič to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FK Hlohovec's Andrej Cabak got control of the ball when Marek Pivko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marek Pivko in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andrej Cabak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 87 minutes into the game, Marek Pivko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andrej Cabak. Marek Pivko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. FK Hlohovec's Andrej Cabak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FK Hlohovec from getting a goal against them.
