With a little luck, FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Matúš Maršálek got control of the ball when Lukáč Mikovíni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matúš Maršálek made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Lukáč Mikovíni sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th minute, Matej Tinka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Adam Šuraba sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Matúš Maršálek didn't even have to move. Bohdan Vašáry struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Miroslav Cisarik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Liptovský Mikuláš. 15 minutes into the match, FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Bohdan Vašáry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miroslav Cisarik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bohdan Vašáry kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Bohdan Vašáry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Miroslav Cisarik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Bohdan Vašáry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bohdan Vašáry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Albert Riška ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miroslav Cisarik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Matúš Maršálek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matúš Halák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Boys Wood's Miroslav Moravčík got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Albert Riška notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Boys Wood's Miroslav Cisarik. Miroslav Cisarik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bohdan Vašáry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Riška to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boys Wood's goalkeeper Miroslav Cisarik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Matúš Maršálek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukáč Mikovíni in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Lukáč Mikovíni put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Matúš Maršálek. Albert Riška kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Michal Burgeľa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matúš Maršálek skillfully saved the ball. FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Bohdan Vašáry got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Lukáč Mikovíni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matúš Maršálek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Riška sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bohdan Vašáry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Miroslav Cisarik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albert Riška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matúš Maršálek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matúš Halák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Michal Burgeľa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Matúš Maršálek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, FK Liptovský Mikuláš failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
