The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberd Žilinovský got free with Matúš Maršálek in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ivan Mládek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, Matej Tinka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberd Žilinovský could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Matúš Maršálek made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Ján Šafár got a free kick in the 17th minute. FK Liptovský Mikuláš's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Teodor Šípoš scored to the left of an out of position Matúš Maršálek, making the score, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Norberd Žilinovský got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Teodor Šípoš kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Matej Tinka got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Riška made a kick off. Norberd Žilinovský sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bohdan Vašáry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FK Liptovský Mikuláš booed when Fk Levice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Šípoš didn't get a good kick on the ball. FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Bohdan Vašáry got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Riška took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Seman. Gabriel Seman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Matúš Maršálek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matej Rafaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, FK Liptovský Mikuláš's Albert Riška sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Seman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matúš Maršálek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juraj Franko in the 94th minute of play. Branislav Klirčík blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Seman having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FK Liptovský Mikuláš players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
