Spectators: 7350 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 100) Daniel Madej started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. FC Chawoya's Miroslav Marguš got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Malinovo City got a freekick which was hit by Róbert Kušnír. 8 minutes into the match, FC Chawoya's Gabriel Jež broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stano Hrubý received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Branislav Kovaľčík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The nice shot from Štefan Hupka in the 18thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Miroslav Urpín had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Štefan Hupka notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Malinovo City's Miroslav Urpín. Miroslav Urpín was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Marguš in the 25th minute of play forced Malinovo City's goalkeeper Miroslav Urpín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Urpín made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslav Marguš in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute, Štefan Hupka made a precise shot to the right of Miroslav Urpín. Malinovo City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 43 minutes, René Balajty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chawoya's supporters crossed their fingers, but René Balajty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malinovo City's Miroslav Urpín proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Malinovo City from getting a goal against them. When Gabriel Jež came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Chawoya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Jež couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes into the match, FC Chawoya's goal looked a bit too open when Stano Hrubý came free, but Branislav Kovaľčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Štefan Hupka made a kick off. Miroslav Urpín made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Štefan Hupka in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Chawoya's Branislav Kovaľčík got control of the ball when Alojz Slama tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Erik Ondejko fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Chawoya's protests and gave Erik Ondejko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, FC Chawoya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Ondejko to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chawoya's zone, Jozef Svatoň stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branislav Kovaľčík came out of the goal and Jozef Svatoň tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When FC Chawoya's Gabriel Jež in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malinovo City's goalie prevented a goal. Miroslav Urpín showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Marguš in the 61st minute of the match. If Štefan Hupka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Jež blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslav Urpín having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Malinovo City's zone, Štefan Hupka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Urpín came out of the goal and Štefan Hupka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If René Balajty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Malinovo City's Jozef Svatoň got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Štefan Hupka struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Miroslav Urpín didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Chawoya. If Miroslav Marguš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Štefan Hupka in the 83rd minute of play forced Malinovo City's goalkeeper Miroslav Urpín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René Balajty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Miroslav Marguš cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Miroslav Urpín was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miroslav Marguš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Miroslav Urpín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Chawoya's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
