Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zdeno Baštovánsky made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, Kristy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Gróf to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kristy booed when Sazdice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matej Vitéz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Kristy's Milan Janáč got control of the ball when Oto Stupala tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Matej Konkoly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kristy's Ambróz Klimkovič got a free kick in the 12th minute. Matej Konkoly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Janáč having to interfere. Oto Stupala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Milan Janáč tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambróz Klimkovič charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambróz Klimkovič the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ambróz Klimkovič hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Oto Stupala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Janáč having to interfere. Oto Stupala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Milan Janáč made a huge save. Tomáš Hečko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdeno Baštovánsky in the 34th minute of the match. Zdeno Baštovánsky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oto Stupala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matej Konkoly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Matej Konkoly came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sazdice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matej Konkoly couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Kristy's zone, Oto Stupala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milan Janáč came out of the goal and Oto Stupala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristy's Samo Kazík came free and shot a quick shot against goal 69 minutes in the game, fortunately Tomáš Hečko had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Sazdice's Oto Stupala got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Matej Konkoly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Janáč saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samo Kazík's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomáš Hečko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kristy's zone, Oto Stupala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milan Janáč came out of the goal and Oto Stupala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milan Janáč didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oto Stupala went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 94 played minutes Kristy got a freekick which was hit by Ambróz Klimkovič.
