Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) Bojnice's Erik Konkoly started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Jež in the 4th minute of play forced Bojnice's goalkeeper Martin Driensky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bojnice's zone, René Balajty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Driensky came out of the goal and René Balajty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Ondejko kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Marek Číž recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ján Demčák could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Branislav Kovaľčík made a huge save. Branislav Kovaľčík made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Novobilský in the 22nd minute. Gabriel Jež recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ján Demčák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Branislav Kovaľčík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Jež hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslav Marguš in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Driensky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Branislav Kovaľčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Konkoly in the 37th minute of play. When Gabriel Jež came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC Chawoya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Jež couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes Bojnice got a freekick which was hit by Tomáš Nárožný.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Štefan Hupka made a kick off. Branislav Kovaľčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Konkoly in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, FC Chawoya's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Novobilský came free, but Branislav Kovaľčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. René Balajty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Martin Driensky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee showed Ladislav Dudáš the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bojnice getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ladislav Dudáš hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Bojnice's goalkeeper Martin Driensky had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Štefan Hupka. Martin Driensky was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Štefan Hupka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Štefan Hupka really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gabriel Jež managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chawoya's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Jež was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Driensky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Milan Hološko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes FC Chawoya got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Jež. Ján Demčák's late challenge caught a FC Chawoya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ján Demčák helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bojnice getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ján Demčák hit a great ball. If Miroslav Marguš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Konkoly scored 1-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Branislav Kovaľčík, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded FC Chawoya left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bojnice.
